These terms are an agreement between you and SKRIPE AZ LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Outfocus. By using the Outfocus apps or website you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Outfocus.
01Who can use Outfocus
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher age for using online services without a parent's consent. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms.
02Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your account to yourself: one person per account, and one running focus block at a time. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.
03Free today
Outfocus is free, and every public room is open to everyone. If we add optional paid features later, we will show the price before you pay, and the purchase will be handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms, including their refund rules. Earned items will never be for sale.
04Focus time, yarn and items
Our servers count your focus time and pay yarn, levels and gifts by the rules shown in the app. Time counted twice (for example from two devices at once) isn't paid twice.
Yarn and items are a personal licence to use them in Outfocus. They have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
We don't take back what you earned honestly: not because a season ends, a rule changes or we fix a bug. We may remove yarn or items obtained by cheating, automation or exploiting bugs on purpose. Future earning rules may change; anything already earned stays yours.
05Community rules
Not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, hate, threats or sexual content, in names, subjects, chat or anywhere else.
- Sharing someone else's personal information, impersonating people, or spam.
- Bots, scripts, modified apps or anything else that fakes focus time or interferes with the service.
- Selling, buying or sharing accounts.
You can report or block anyone in one tap. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
06What you post
You keep the rights to what you write. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in the room so Outfocus can work, for as long as it's needed for that.
07Room regulars
To keep quiet rooms from feeling empty, a few seats may be filled by ambient "regulars". Tap one and it says so. They don't count toward room goals and never wear earned items.
08Look after yourself
Outfocus is a study tool, not medical or psychological advice. Take breaks, sleep, and talk to a professional if studying is affecting your health.
09Changes, availability and ending
We keep improving Outfocus, so features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. You can stop using Outfocus and delete your account at any time from the account removal page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
10Disclaimer and liability
Outfocus is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
11App Store terms
If you got Outfocus from Apple's App Store, these terms are between you and SKRIPE AZ LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, is not responsible for claims relating to the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. Your use must also follow the App Store's usage rules.
12Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before important changes take effect. If you keep using Outfocus afterwards, you accept the new terms.
